Reverend Sister Laya Thomas Mailakkattu, a parishioner of the Manarcad St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Cathedral—a source of pride for the Holy Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church—has handwritten the entire Holy Bible in her own beautiful handwriting. When it was presented at the holy feet of Aboon Mor Baselios Joseph Bawa, the presentation to the Church was made jointly by Brother Wilson Vadakara (Managing Trustee of the Bethsaida Charitable Trust Old Age Home), President Jeeson, Co-patron, the wife of Reverend Fr. Roy Mappadam, and Honorable Paul Mathew.
